Miss Shana recently retired as a Magic Dancer and was captain of the squad for 3 of her 5 years! Shana attended the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism/Electronic Media. Upon graduation, she moved to Orlando, FL and danced her way to the Disneyworld Magic Kingdom Castle stage as a performer in "Kids of the Kingdom". She spent 2 years there, before dancing at Animal Kingdom's "Tarzan Rocks!" show for 4 years. In 2005, Shana then moved to Hong Kong and opened the Hong Kong Disneyland park where she spent 15 months as an arielist & dancer in "The Golden Mickey's" and the Grand Opening Cast Ceremonies of "Be Our Guest". When she returned to the United States, she then became an NBA Orlando Magic Dancer/Team Leader spending 5 seasons dancing her way to many places such as an Armed Forces Entertainment tour across Japan, Okinawa & Korea. She was a participant in the NBA China Games held in Shanghai & Macau. Shana also performed in the "NBA Madness" held in Singapore, and that same year she performed with her Orlando Magic "Dunk" team in Indonesia for the LA Lights Streetball Tournament.
Shana also has many TV credits including performing on "Live with Regis and Kelly", "The Wayne Brady Show", ESPN, The Golf Channel, WRBW UPN-65 in Orlando, The Sunshine Network, and many more. She has participated in numerous tradeshows, and conventions across the US including, a Las Vegas Tradeshow for "Everlast" featuring Sugar Ray Leonard, SWISHER sports, "AVP" Malibu in Panama City, Surf Expo, JVC, and was even featured in a Tiburon Entertainment/Madden Sports Playstation game as a professional football cheerleader. She has modeled for Forte Salon & Spa, Matthew Michael's, Redken, and Capezio dancewear. Shana hopes to continue her professional career in promotions, dance and modeling. Shana is currently dancing and stilt-walking for Seaworld and Nascar, and is very excited to work with and inspire the students at Edge Dance Studio
