Joe began dancing at the early age of nine, becoming widely recognized at Vine Performing Arts Academy for his improvisational skills and his astounding connection with Hip Hop. It was here that he began to study unique and popular dance styles such as Step, West African and Tap. Joseph later enrolled at Austin- East Magnet High of Performing Arts where he became a member of several dance companies such as the Austin East Dance Co, TAD, Black Dance USA and Tribe-One. Joseph is currently a member of Monsters of Hip-Hop-Orlando and part of the Orlando Dance Group Tiao-Wu, which has performed with Super Crew and for Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic. Joe was recently featured on the TV dance show "So You Think You Can Dance" Season-5 where he made the top 40 in the country. Joseph was part of the opening act with the JabbA-Woockeez at Disney in Orlando in May 2008. He was a dancer and a featured choreographer in the production of the Chocolate Nutcracker in 2007. In the Chocolate Nutcracker 2008, Joe also performed along side actor Mel Jackson, who is well known for his role in movies such as "Soul Food" and "Deliver Us from Eva". He had a dance scene in an Independent SunRaSon film titled “What Goes Around”. He has also worked with known choreographer and actor Darren Henson. Joseph has modeled, acted, and performed in Las Vegas and New York in various fashion shows. He opened up with a dance routine for nationally known comedian Chocolate. He also performed with Marva King who starred in the Tyler Perry play "Diary of a Mad Black Woman". He was a featured dancer at the opening night of the controversial movie "Rise". He was a regular featured dancer in the Kumba Festival that is held annually in Knoxville, TN. He has opened up for artist such as Erica Badu, Mystical, K-C and Jo-Jo, Floetry, Midnight Star and Bobby Valentino. Prior to moving to Orlando, he was step-master for a step team called "The Esquires". They performed together in Atlanta, Knoxville and Alabama. They entered a competition in Alabama and came away the winner - with Joseph being the highlight of the performance. During Joe's reign as step master, the Esquires were listed as the national champion step team from 2004-2007.
